Dress for Success is part of a global movement for change, empowering women to obtain safer and better futures. The mission for Dress for Success worldwide is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work & in life.
Dress for Success Adelaide offers women (17 years and over) in need in our community a continuum of service: Interview preparation, including clothing if required and practicing interview technique; On gaining employment clients are offered employment suiting and guidance on what it takes to be a valued employee; We will also continue to encourage women who have gained employment to join our employment retention program, the Professional Women’s Group (PWG).
The PWG provides our clients with ongoing support through: mentoring by business and community leaders, leadership development training, career development activities, and networking opportunities.
We have served young women seeking employment often for the first time, return to work mothers and the long-term unemployed with little or no employment history.
