COMPETITOR INFORMATION

Bibs

All ASA members are asked to bring their fabric bibs with you for this event. These bibs will be the bibs used for all Winter events.

If you are joining as a Winter member, and have not been a Summer member, you will be assigned a set of fabric bibs to be used for the Winter season.

Bib pickup will be open at the venue from 12:00 Noon and we ask that all team managers check in at least 45 minutes before the start of their race with their team lists.

Venue Information

Food and Drink

Café Bonython will be open during our event, offering hot and cold beverages as well as a selection of food. They will also have some specials available to all atteendees.

Toilets

There are a number of toilets located throughout the Bonython Park Venue. Please refer to the attached map for locations.

Parking/Public Transport

Bonython Park has a number of public car parks available, as well as on-street parking around the immediate area.

Should you wish to take public transport there is direct tram and bus access, as well as access by train only a short walk away.

VOLUNTEERS

We are looking for a number of volunteers to assist with this weekends event. If you (or someone attending the event with you) is able to help out with the event it would be greatly appreciated by all of the competitors.

Currently we are looking for people to act as:

  • Course Marshals
  • Assist with Bib Pickup/Registration
  • Drink Station Attendants
  • Timing Assistants

If you are able to help in one of these roles, please contact events@athleticssa.com.au.

LAP COUNTERS

Each club is responsible for supplying enough lap scorers/counters for the number of teams that they have submitted. If your club has a large number of teams, we recommend that you organise one person to manage 2-3 teams as a maximum, as managing numerous teams can be difficult.

Please make sure that your scorers arrive in sufficient time to complete the scorecard before the beginning of the races.
