Through the Running SA Partner Event program, Running SA offers a range of benefits designed to assist your running event. These include:
- Very competitive public liability insurance policy that covers not only the event organiser but registered volunteers on the day of your event.
- Event promotional package through Running SA's assets, including a database of recreational runners in South Australia and a national network of events and affiliates.
Promotional benefits may include
- Running SA website story on your event (event to supply copy).
- Inclusion of event link in the Running SA e-newsletter.
- Running SA social media posts.
- Inclusion on the Running SA event calendar listing and a link to your event site on the event menu of www.runningsa.com.au
Running SA can also provide (for an additional fee) event services such as equipment hire, advice, officials, sourcing elite athletes, course measurement, and timing services. Please contact us for more information.
Requirements
It is a requirement that all events that join Running SA comply with the following:
- Supply event and risk management plans (including site plans and traffic management plans) prior to receiving an insurance certificate.
- Supply their race database post-event. This is crucial to us being able to promote events nationally via our E-newsletter and ensures the recreational running community remains informed of coming events.
